EASY BOOKKEEPER 1.0.0 - INSTALLATION GUIDE

INSTALL

1. Verify that EasyBookkeeperSetup-1.0.0.exe and its SHA-256 checksum file were obtained from EM Tech Support.
2. Double-click EasyBookkeeperSetup-1.0.0.exe.
3. Review the complete offline Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, and Ad Disclosure.
4. Select the policy acceptance checkbox and continue.
5. Choose whether to create a desktop shortcut, then select Install.

UPDATE OR REPAIR

- When an older Easy Bookkeeper version is installed, setup offers Update.
- When version 1.0.0 is already installed, setup offers Repair.
- App files are replaced while bookkeeping data and backups are preserved.

DATA LOCATION

Easy Bookkeeper keeps encrypted user data separate from installed program files:

%USERPROFILE%\Documents\Easy Bookkeeper

UNINSTALL

Use Windows Settings > Apps > Installed apps > Easy Bookkeeper. Normal uninstall removes program files and shortcuts while preserving bookkeeping data. Full data removal is optional and requires a separate warning and confirmation.

CODE-SIGNING NOTICE

This release is Authenticode-signed with the EM Tech Support self-signed code-signing certificate. Windows may display a trust or unknown-publisher warning on computers where the certificate has not been trusted. The included public certificate and trust helper are provided for controlled environments. Review the certificate before trusting it.
