EM Tech Support Apps Privacy Policy
Effective Date: June 30, 2026
Policy Version: 2026.06.30-v1.0
Responsible party/controller: Luis Mejia, doing business as EM Tech Support
Contact: info@emtechsupport.com
Privacy domicile: 1801 East G Street, Suite B, Ontario, CA 91764
1. Scope
This Privacy Policy explains how EM Tech Support Apps and EM Tech Support handle information in the App. It does not govern third-party websites opened from ads or links, app stores, third-party platforms, or unrelated portions of emtechsupport.com, which have their own notices.
The App is offered in the United States market to adults age 18 or older. It is not directed to children. Spanish translation and Mexico-related settings do not mean the App is intended for Mexican market distribution.
2. Local-First App Data
Unless an app-specific notice states otherwise, the App is designed so the following information remains on your device under your control:
- app settings, profile settings, user preferences, local records, projects, documents, images, media, and app-specific content;
- contact details, business information, identifiers, logos, and related profile data you choose to enter;
- records, entries, categories, files, reports, outputs, generated content, and exports created inside the App;
- calculations, classifications, tags, labels, templates, and app-specific configuration;
- attachments, scans, uploads, captured files, and document paths;
- local password hashes, recovery-answer hashes, USB recovery settings, and security preferences;
- encrypted workspace data, automatic backups, manual backups, exports, and local diagnostic logs.
EM Tech Support does not receive this local content through the current App unless an app-specific notice states otherwise or you send it to EM Tech Support. Information leaves local control only when you direct the App, device, operating system, browser, platform, or third-party service to export, print, copy, back up, email, upload, sync, open, or otherwise share it, or when another person or program with device access obtains it.
You determine the purposes and means of processing personal information that you enter about customers, employees, vendors, clients, contacts, patients, students, users, or other people. You are responsible for your own privacy notices, legal basis, consent, security, retention, and response to those individuals' requests.
3. Information EM Tech Support or Providers May Receive
A. Ad-feed requests and website logs
When the App refreshes public ads from emtechsupport.com, the request necessarily communicates technical network information such as IP address, date/time, user agent, requested resource, and ordinary connection/security data to the website and its host, GoDaddy, and GoDaddy's applicable subprocessors. These logs are used to deliver and secure the feed, diagnose availability, prevent abuse, and maintain the website. GoDaddy controls its own hosting and server-log retention under its applicable privacy notice, data-processing terms, subprocessor terms, account settings, and legal obligations. EM Tech Support does not set a fixed GoDaddy log-retention period and will rely on GoDaddy's current provider terms unless a specific hosting plan or written provider setting states otherwise.
The App does not include advertising identifiers, fingerprinting, behavioral profiles, or cross-app/site tracking for ad selection. Ads are contextual or direct placements.
B. External ad and referral links
If you choose an ad or referral button, the App, browser, operating system, or platform may open the third party's website or app. That third party may receive your IP address, browser/device data, referral URL or code, and may use cookies, pixels, analytics, SDKs, or attribution tools under its own privacy policy. EM Tech Support may receive affiliate or referral compensation. The App does not control third-party tracking after you leave the App.
C. Support and privacy communications
If you email info@emtechsupport.com, EM Tech Support receives your email address, message, and anything you voluntarily attach. Do not send passwords, recovery answers, USB secrets, full app databases, financial-account credentials, government identifiers, health information, biometric data, children's data, or unnecessary sensitive records. Support and privacy communications are normally retained for three years after the last communication. Privacy-rights request records may be retained for at least 24 months, and communications may be kept longer where reasonably necessary for legal compliance, disputes, security incidents, abuse prevention, accounting, or defense of claims.
D. App stores and platforms
If you obtain the App from an app store or platform, that provider may independently process account, device, download, diagnostic, purchase, transaction, and platform information under its own privacy statement. EM Tech Support receives only information the platform makes available to publishers and does not control the platform's independent processing.
4. Purposes of Processing
Where EM Tech Support receives information, it uses it to deliver and secure the ad feed, maintain the website, respond to support and privacy requests, detect abuse and fraud, administer affiliate/referral programs, comply with law, establish or defend legal claims, and improve App reliability without remote in-app analytics.
The App is not offered to or directed at Mexico, the EEA, or the United Kingdom. For any privacy law outside the United States that unexpectedly applies, potential bases include contract, legitimate interests in security/support, legal obligation, and consent where required.
5. Advertising and Compensation
The App may show ads, sponsored placements, affiliate links, referral links, and cross-promotions selected without behavioral profiling unless an app-specific notice says otherwise. EM Tech Support may receive compensation from displays, clicks, referrals, applications, purchases, or other qualifying actions. Ads will be distinguishable from the App's main content and include an appropriate sponsored/referral disclosure.
EM Tech Support does not sell local app data and does not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising through the current App. The current App does not offer personalized advertising unless an app-specific notice says otherwise, so no personalized-ad opt-out is necessary. If practices change, this Policy and the App's controls must be updated before the change takes effect.
6. Disclosures of Information
EM Tech Support may disclose information it actually possesses:
- to GoDaddy, its applicable subprocessors, and other infrastructure providers needed to host and secure emtechsupport.com;
- to app stores and platforms for distribution as governed by their systems;
- to professional advisers or contractors bound by appropriate duties;
- when required by law, legal process, or a valid governmental request;
- to investigate fraud, abuse, security incidents, or threats to rights and safety;
- in a merger, asset transfer, financing, or similar transaction, subject to applicable notice and privacy obligations; or
- at your direction or with your consent.
Local app data is not routinely disclosed because EM Tech Support does not receive it through the current App unless an app-specific notice states otherwise or you send it to EM Tech Support.
7. Sale, Sharing, and Targeted Advertising
EM Tech Support does not sell personal information or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising through the current App, as those terms are defined by applicable U.S. state privacy laws. It does not use targeted or behaviorally personalized ads in the App.
Compensation from an affiliate link does not mean that local app data is transferred. A third party may collect information after you voluntarily open its website or app. Direct privacy requests concerning that third party should be sent to it.
Because the App does not engage in sale, sharing, or targeted advertising, it does not currently provide a "Do Not Sell or Share" control. Global Privacy Control is not used by the local desktop interface. Any future website tracking or targeted-ad practices require separate notice and controls.
8. Retention
- Local workspace and attachments: until you delete them or uninstall and remove app data.
- Automatic backups: the most recent five days under current settings.
- Manual backups, exports, and printed documents: until you delete or destroy them.
- Cached ads and images: until refreshed, replaced, or deleted with app data.
- Local startup and lifecycle logs: until app-data deletion.
- Website/server logs: controlled by GoDaddy under its applicable provider terms, subprocessor terms, account settings, and legal obligations; EM Tech Support does not publish a fixed GoDaddy-controlled server-log period unless GoDaddy provides one for the active hosting plan.
- Support/privacy communications: normally three years after the last communication.
- Privacy-rights request records: at least 24 months and normally up to three years unless a longer period is reasonably necessary.
- Legal, security, abuse, fraud, billing, affiliate, or dispute records: as long as reasonably necessary for the related issue and applicable limitation periods.
The App may not provide a "Delete All Local Data" button unless an app-specific feature provides one. You may delete individual records in the App where supported and may remove remaining App data through your device or operating system. Back up any records you must retain before deletion.
9. Security
The App may use local storage, encryption, backup files, password features, recovery features, accounts, or platform security features depending on the specific app. EM Tech Support uses reasonable measures appropriate to information it controls. No storage, encryption, transmission, device, platform, or authentication system is guaranteed secure.
You are responsible for device account security, physical device access, malware protection, updates, passwords, recovery information, exported files, printouts, uploads, downloads, and backup locations. Portable encrypted-backup or export features may permit restoration on another device, so anyone who obtains a backup/export and any required access information may create risk.
10. Your Choices and Rights
Local information
You can access and correct local information through the App, export supported records, delete supported entries, remove attachments, and delete App files through your device or operating system. Because EM Tech Support does not possess local app data unless an app-specific notice states otherwise or you send it to EM Tech Support, it generally cannot retrieve, correct, export, or delete that data for you.
California
If the CCPA/CPRA or another California law applies, California residents may have rights to know/access, correct, delete, obtain information about disclosures, opt out of sale/sharing, limit certain sensitive-information uses, and receive non-discriminatory treatment. Based on current representations, EM Tech Support may not meet the CCPA's statutory business thresholds, and the App does not sell/share local App data. EM Tech Support will honor rights that apply.
Other jurisdictions
Where another applicable law grants rights, EM Tech Support will respond as required. Requests may require reasonable identity verification. Email info@emtechsupport.com. You may complain to a competent privacy authority, subject to applicable law.
11. International Processing
Local app information remains on the user's device unless the user transfers it or an app-specific notice states otherwise. Ad-feed requests, external-link activity, app-store information, platform information, and support emails may be processed in the United States or other locations used by the relevant provider. Safeguards and rights depend on the responsible provider and applicable law.
12. Children
The App is for adults age 18 or older and is not directed to children or teens. EM Tech Support does not knowingly collect children's personal information through the App. If you believe a minor sent information to EM Tech Support, email info@emtechsupport.com.
13. Changes
EM Tech Support may update this Policy for legal, security, operational, advertising, or feature changes. Material changes will be presented in the App and require renewed acceptance where appropriate. The effective date will be updated. Practices will not be materially expanded without notice and consent where required.
